About this Dog
Hi, I'm Belmont Jewel! I'm named after one of the official drinks of the Kentucky Derby! My foster family just calls me Jewel, and you can too! I'm a precious gem! I was found with my brother and sisters. We were just puppies, surviving on our own! I'm quickly learning the ropes of having a home and a family and I am blossoming every day! I'm sweet, submissive, and a total cutie! I love being part of a pack of dogs and I've learned so much from watching the other dogs here in my foster home. I've even learned potty training this way! I am much more confident when other dogs are around and it's easier for me to relax and get comfy. I just started going on walks and I'm learning to love them! I still get scared when I see a new human, but the sniffs and exercise makes it worth it! I also love to play, chew, and be around other dogs as much as possible! I love doing zoomies in the backyard! I've made amazing progress in a short time, but I'm still skittish around the hoomans here and I sometimes get scared when they approach me or are nearby. I feel safest when I am able to do things on my own terms and timeline, so I'd love to find a patient and understanding person or family, with another pup (or a pack) to help show me the ropes! Could that be you? Fill out an application and mention me, Belmont Jewel!

Adopt Belmont Jewel and Receive Belmont Jewel's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Belmont Jewel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Belmont Jewel's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Belmont Jewel, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Belmont Jewel's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Belmont Jewel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Belmont Jewel’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Belmont Jewel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Belmont Jewel’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
