About this Dog
His name is Bundy. He’s a 4 1/2 year-old black lab grey Greyhound mixed. He’s estimated weight is about 55 pounds. He’s neutered in vaccinated up-to-date. The reason we need to surrender Bundy is because we are currently fostering him for a friend who was in a substance abuse program while her program concluded on August 19. She has not yet secured stable housing and we are at our limit. We originally able to keep him only until her program concluded. We live in an RV with our own dog, who is currently recovering from a crucial ligament, tear managing her activity with another dog, and such a confined space, combined with our financial constraint has made it impossible to continue providing a home for Bundy. We are at our maximum capacity. Unfortunately, if we cannot secure a placement for him. By this coming weekend. We will be forced to surrender him to a shelter. He experiences some anxiety with new people, though I would not classify it as aggression. He is unsure upon initial introduction but settles in well. Once he has time to become familiar with someone. He needs proper slow introductions to other animals to build TRUST. He was attacked by two dogs in his previous living situation which has caused some fear. He currently coexists fine with our female pitbull, but it required a few days of gradual fenced inn introductions. He enjoys playing, fetch but dislikes, roughhousing or wrestling. He would likely do best in a home with children, 10 and older. He had a past issue with his ears and infection or cut, but they appear to be fine Now. he shows some resource guarding with treats or bones, but usually releases them. He enjoys playing Tug of war, and can growl while playing, but this is playful behavior rather than aggression ,he’s highly INTELLIGENT, eager to learn and knows, basic commands, sit stay come lay down and waiting for Food while he seems more comfortable with females. He is affectionate and happy once he builds TRUST.He is crate trained. We are at our limit and cannot keep him past this coming weekend as we have run out of the Food. His owner provided, and are struggling to match his care a long side our own injured dog.

Adopt Bundy and Receive Bundy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bundy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

How will Bundy receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Bundy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Bundy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bundy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bundy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Bundy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bundy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
