About this Dog
This Corgi friend is "Roo", a Cattle dog mix (maybe with dachshund?) who came to CCFR as a stray from KS. At approximately 7 months old and 21 lbs., she has mastered the art of being the sweetest girl ever. She loves to give hugs and is very gentle and affectionate with people. Her foster friends taught her to use the dog door in about 15 minutes. She is very smart. Roo has been working on potty training and is doing very well, but will need to go to a home where someone will continue to work with her on her schedule. She goes on walks and will wear a harness. Cuddling is her specialty; she is a supreme lap dog! She does well with other dogs and loves their company, wrestling, as well as snuggling, but stays pretty attached to her people. She would do best with someone who is not away for long periods. Roo has also been learning to chase a tennis ball and knows 'Sit". She has been sleeping in her crate at night. Interactions with kids have been positive, and she has been very gentle so a respectful child 8+ maybe considered. Roo is untested with cats. If you are interested in meeting Roo this first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and neet with everyonein the home. Kangaroo is spayed, chipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $400 and we do nor adopt outside if Colorado.

Adopt Roo and Receive Roo's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roo's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Roo's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Roo, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Roo's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roo was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roo’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roo’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roo’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
