About this Dog
I got ekko mid December of 2024. He has been with me for about 5 months now. I got him from a different family that couldn’t take care of him anymore. Unfortunately I’m moving out of state for work and have no one to take him. He’s a good high energy dog, he’s 1 year old. Loves walks and is very much food/treat motivated. He loves blueberry treats. He’s kennel trained and doesn’t potty in the house, chew toys are a must. He’s okay with cats he’s just very curious and tries to play with them a little too aggressively. He is not neutered. He is aggressive towards male dogs but listens well when you correct him. He is fence aggressive. He does take a little bit of time to get used to a new owner, so long as you take it slow with him he’ll open up to you. Someone with experience and willing to train him would be great

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ekko was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ekko’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ekko’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ekko’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
