About this Dog
Cooper is a neutered 5 year old Border Collie/Aussie Heeler/Catahoula Mix. He loves people, other dogs, and absolutely adores hugs and pets. He is great with kids and has frequently wrestled and played with our young children. His happy place is in your lap being pet all day long. He does bark when playing on the stronger side, doorbells, and hearing sounds that interest him. Cooper was touched by a car a year ago, however, his vet paperwork and his behavior show there is no lasting damage (only a cosmetic dip). His stand out negative tendency is eating out of bathroom trashcans if the door is open AND no one is home (especially with diapers and feminine products). He loves his brother, Ryker, and needs to be adopted with his brother. They can deal with separation anxiety. They would best suited in a home that doesn't have restrictions about laying on furniture (although they weren't allowed on furniture or upstairs in our home due to allergies), a large backyard to play, or an active hiker/camper family who would take these best buds on adventures.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cooper's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cooper was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cooper’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
