Hi, I'm Filmina! I'm a gorgeous long haired grey female with a sprinkle of tortoiseshell markings, born approximately 4/20/2017. I've been told I look like a work of art, but don't let my beauty fool you--I've got a little spice in my personality to match! My family raised me since I was just 8 weeks old, but after they moved into a smaller, busier home, life got a little too overwhelming for me. They did everything they could to help me feel at ease, but the noise and chaos just weren't my vibe, so they made the difficult decision to let me find a quieter, more peaceful home. I'm a sensitive soul. Loud noises and too much activity stress me out, so I'm looking for a calm, quiet place to call my own. I'd do best as your one and only pet too. Dogs are definitely not my thing, and I'm not a fan of young children either. Most of the time, I'm sweet and affectionate, but I do have a sassy side that comes out when I'm feeling overwhelmed or unsure. With patience and understanding, I know I can thrive in the right environment. Oh, and here's a little fun fact about me: I'm a dry food kind of girl, but I'll occasionally dabble in wet food--it's all about keeping things interesting! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Filmina was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Filmina’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Filmina’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Filmina’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
