General Notes | Looking for a snow-white beauty with the best personality to boot? Ruby is the best three-year-old gal sporting the cutest speckled nose perfect for booping! She's ready to sprinkle your Colorado home with joyful wiggles, adventurous spirit, and a lifetime of fun-loving companionship. Want to adopt this dog? Please do not email us. Please fill out the Adoption Application ASAP. Personality | Per her foster: Ruby is a gentle giant! She gets along great with other dogs and very sweet to cats and kids. She is young at heart and loves to run. Zoomies in the yard playing chase with the other dogs is a favorite. She has spurts of energy, but is over all an easy, calm big girl! She loves soft beds, toys and chewing bones. She does not have food or toy aggression. I do not Kennel Ruby as she is potty trained and no chewing issues. When she wants to go outside to potty, she will come over look at you and nudge your arm then walk for the door. She loves to lay in the sun and relax, but she wants you to be near. She'll follow you room to room ready for any adventure as long as you're together. She does well in the car, but stress pants a bit. Ruby is a fast learner and aims to please; she is very responsive to commands. She loves to go on walks, but we're working on not pulling as she's a big girl especially when defending you from those naughty squirrels. Overall, Ruby is a big love bug. She will be an easy foster and will be a great addition to any family!Story | Dropped off as a stray at a high kill shelter in Houston, TX, this girl is making her big break for CO!Other Dogs | Great with other dogs. The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Noesen / Ruby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Noesen / Ruby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Noesen / Ruby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Noesen / Ruby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
