About this Cat
rlando is an amazing 2 year old flame point siamese male, most likely a mix but he's not telling! Orlando LOVES other cats, both adults and kittens and will make a perfect companion for your cat! He is at his happiest when sharing space with another cat, so having one is a requirement. He is currently sharing his foster room with 4 female kittens, so adopting one of them for him is a possibility as well. Orlando is quite loving with his foster mom. He comes regularly for pets, loving jaw and head scratches, head butts and cuddles next to me readily. He was quite shy when ARR got him and he has come a very long way to now love a human. He needs someone who is cat savvy and compassionate to train him again to be their lovebug! He will need to be confined for around 3 weeks in a bedroom or office while the bond is being worked on. Orlando is very playful and LOVES wand toys. This is also a good way to bond with him. He is also quite skilled at getting the balls out of the puzzle box toy. He also will likely do well with a dog that does not have a prey drive and likes cats. No younger kids however a teenager should be fine. Orlando can be visited in south Fort Collins at his foster home. CP Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Adopt Orlando and Receive Orlando's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Orlando's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Orlando's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Orlando, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Orlando's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Orlando was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Orlando’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Orlando’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Orlando’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
