About this Dog
Perhaps the word that best describes 11 month old Pea is “gentle.” The 49-pound brown beauty, who exudes gentleness from every pore, is slowly settling into her foster home and exploring her new, wide and wonderful world. Sweet and calm, she thrives on the closeness of her foster mom, snuggling and cuddling with her, resting her head on her and rolling over for belly rubs. Learning all about the joy of playing with toys from her doggy foster friends, Pea LOVES play wrestling with them and is, in fact, eager to play wrestle with any willing dog regardless of age or size! She also loves playing with the resident teens, ignores the cat, and is slowly acclimating herself to the concept of walking on a leash. Motivated by food and love, she accepts all treats gently, and being highly intelligent and eager to please, is diligently at work on her commands. Never crated and honing her house training skills, gentle Pea is best suited to a loving home, preferably with an active doggy playmate, and patient adopters who will complete her training, including her commands, and ensure that she’s kept mentally and physically fulfilled fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $425. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can't accept calls at this time.

Adopt Pea and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pea's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Pea's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Pea, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pea's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pea was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pea’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Pea’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pea’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
