This precious one-eared beauty has been through a lot, but her heart remains as full of love as ever. Rescued from a rural shelter in New Mexico after being surrendered through no fault of her own, she made her way to Colorado in search of a brighter future. In foster care, we discovered tumors on her ear that required surgery—twice—but this brave girl handled it all with incredible grace. Today, she is cancer-free and ready for the next chapter: a forever home where she can be cherished like the queen she is.She’s the sweetest companion you could ever hope for—she adores snuggling into laps, melting under chin scritches, and soaking up all the pets she can get. Playful and loving, she’ll make you laugh with her silly antics and then curl up beside you for a cozy nap. She truly thrives when she’s the center of attention and would love to be your one and only furry family member. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roxy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roxy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roxy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roxy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
