About this Dog
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails) . Meet Noni - If you’re looking for the sweetest, most easy-going companion to share your days with, Noni is your girl. This lovely senior Pitbull/Lab mix (somewhere between 13–16 years young!) has mastered the art of living life at a calm, cozy pace. At around 76 lbs, she’s a gentle, affectionate presence who just wants to be near her people, enjoy a few short strolls, and soak up all the love you have to give. Noni is wonderfully house-trained, signals politely when she needs to go outside, and has been a perfect angel when left home alone. She walks beautifully on leash, though her arthritis means she prefers shorter, leisurely walks — just enough to sniff around and explore before heading back for a nap. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, especially calm male pups, and has positive (if cautious) interactions with cats. This girl has zero interest in toys, but she’ll never turn down a tasty treat or a good head scratch. She’s known to “dance” when she’s happy and will rest her head on you in the most heart-melting way. Noni’s perfect home would be a calm, loving environment without stairs, where she can enjoy a soft bed, a yard to explore, and plenty of quality time with her humans. She’s had extensive dental work, so soft food and treats are preferred. If you’re ready to give a sweet senior the forever home she deserves, Noni is ready to fill your life with love, loyalty, and quiet joy. If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $100. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can't accept calls.

Adopt Noni #1 and Receive Noni #1's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Noni #1's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Noni #1's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Noni #1, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Noni #1's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Noni #1 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Noni #1’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Noni #1’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Noni #1’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
