About this Dog
Kindhearted 7-month-old Kola is clearly in love with love! Rescued by Good Samaritans from an abusive situation on an out-of-state ranch and transported here, the 35-pound tan puppy was understandably shy, but once she warmed up to her fosters, she bloomed. Blessed with the cutest smile and sweetest personality, she loves cuddling and snuggling with them on the couch, resting her head on them, rolling over belly rubs, then lying near them on the floor while they work and stretching her neck back and up for some scratches and pets. Content to chill out and nap with her doggy foster brother on their beds in the living room, she’s even happier playing with their toys, and happier still playing outside. Kola loves and needs to take regular walks, prancing proudly on her walks and then “surfing” in the snow. Riding calmly now in the car, she considers a glow-in-the-dark chuck-it ball and a red stuffed bone toy her favorite toys, loves her Benebones, Kong monkey and all treats, accepting them gently. Highly intelligent and eager to please, she’s motivated by praise, toys and treats, knows “sit,” “down” and “off,” and is swiftly learning more commands. Crate trained, at work on her house-training and puppy manners, kiss-able Kola now hopes to find an especially loving home, perhaps with a backyard and another playful pup, that will perfect her manners, complete her training, including her commands, and keep her fulfilled, mentally and physically, fur-ever. See additional photos of Kola here! Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! Adopt Kola and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kola's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Kola's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Kola, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kola's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kola was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kola’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Kola’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kola’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
