About this Dog
Saucily sporting a brown “pirate patch” over her left eye is sweet 15-month-old Sammie. Asking only to love and be loved, she’s 20 pounds worth of snuggles and cuddles, thrives on her foster mom’s attention, rests her head on her, turns over for tummy rubs and then faithfully follows her through the house. Comfortable around children and learning more about boundaries each day, Sammie loves sunbathing outdoors and going for walks, walking calmly on leash (she may make an excellent hiking companion), enjoys interacting with dogs her size and larger, but considers cats and other small animals prey. She especially enjoys carrots, elk antlers and Kongs, likes all treats and is learning to accept them more gently, and although she’s just starting on her commands, she’s motivated by love and food and should prove to be an A+ student. Crate trained and almost fully house-trained, sociable Sammie now needs a home eager to reassure her that she’s both safe and loved, to complete her training, including her commands, and keep her happily active fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order they're submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, we will connect you with our dogs' foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a "meet and greet" is set up. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to finalize the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email [email protected] for more information, as we can't accept calls at this time.

Adopt Sammie and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sammie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Sammie's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Sammie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Sammie's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sammie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sammie’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Sammie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sammie’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
