About this Dog
Evan, at 6 years of age, is an endearing blend of affectionate and active. Once the 17-pound former stray settled into his foster home with the help of some gentle pets, he warmed up wonderfully, and now answers to the nickname "Alfie", coming over to his fosters with kissy noises. As much as he loves cuddling up on their laps or snuggling with them on the couch, he especially loves having his ears scratched and his belly rubbed before falling asleep and loudly snoring the snore of an old man. One of his favorite positions is “splooting” to lie down with his back legs fully splayed behind him, then looking back over his shoulder and wagging his tail at his fosters. Most energetic in the morning, Evan, who adores his doggy foster brother, loves playing with him, running around the apartment and jumping from couches to chairs. Walking well on leash during his morning walks, any interest he shows in other dogs is easily redirected with the “leave it” command, and when he returns home, he’ll snuggle with his doggy foster brother and sleep for much of the day. An excellent passenger in the car, gladly gazing out the window, he loves chewing on a toy rope, playing with a green ball and a stuffed bunny that has crinkly ears, and calmly ignores any cats he meets. Mainly motivated by love, Evan currently knows “off” and “no,” eats and sleeps in his crate and is almost fully house-trained. Now this cuddly cutie hopes to spend the rest of his life in a loving home that will patiently bolster his confidence, continue his socialization and complete his training, including his commands, in return for his own endless love. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application received in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). Adopt Evan and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Evan's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Evan's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Evan, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Evan's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Evan was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Evan’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Evan’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Evan’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
