To ensure Cozby finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). Meet Cozby | 8-Month-Old Cattle Dog Mix | 35 lbs of Wiggles, Belly Rubs & Goofy Puppy Joy Looking for a lovable pup who’s equal parts cuddlebug, goofball, and hiking buddy? Meet Cozby — affectionately known as Cozzy Bear — a happy-go-lucky 8-month-old cattle dog mix with the sweetest soul and a serious squeaker toy addiction. With his handsome black-and-white coat and signature “belly-up-for-scratches” pose, Cozby is as charming as they come. He’s a smart little sponge who's already mastered “sit” and “come,” and he’s well on his way to “paw.” He keeps a clean kennel, sleeps quietly through the night, and politely enjoys a frozen Kong while you’re away — no destruction, no whining, just pure angel behavior. Cozby loves: Other dogs (he’s a total social butterfly) Fetch, bones, and every toy — especially squeaky ones Walks, hikes, and backyard zoomies Cuddles — he’ll rest his head on you or climb into your lap to say “I love you” Rolling around with toys like a wiggly, joyful little maniac Cozby hasn’t met cats or children up close yet, but his sweet reactions to kids he’s seen on walks suggest he’ll be a great family dog. He would love a playful canine sibling, and he’s the kind of pup who would thrive in a home that enjoys walks, toys, snuggles, and laughter. He’s about 75% house-trained and improving fast. With consistency and love, this sweet guy will continue to blossom into the best companion ever. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $425. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cozby's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cozby was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cozby’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cozby’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cozby’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
