Meet Sake Soda! Sake is the king of cozy. With his semi-long grey and black stripes and his signature upside-down napping style, he brings serious charm and fluff to any sunny spot. Whether he's lounging in a windowsill or quietly surveying the household, Sake knows how to enjoy the finer things in life.Though he may come off a little reserved at first, once Sake decides you're his person, you'll be treated to the sweetest soft-eyed stares and gentle meows—his way of saying, "Hey, I’m here if you need me." He adores chin scratches, has a curious streak a mile wide, and takes great pride in his stealthy sneaking skills - especially when it comes to tiptoeing past the resident big dog.Sake is also a true foodie. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sake Soda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sake Soda’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sake Soda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sake Soda’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
