About this Dog
Hi, I’m Freya – desert survivor, professional snuggler, and lover of all things cozy. My story starts on a dusty desert road in the middle of absolutely nowhere. It was me and my two siblings—Ragnar (the big, bossy one) and Valkyrie (the fearless explorer)—waiting for three long days for someone to come back for us. Spoiler: they didn’t. Thankfully, a kind lady living in a 5th wheel nearby saw us and called the rescue. She said we looked like we were waiting for a ride that forgot about us. Honestly... we kinda were. We were scared at first, so the rescue team brought traps—but Valkyrie waltzed right up like she owned the place. Ragnar eventually followed, after making a big show of being “cautious.” Me? I was watching everything, curious but quiet. Once we realized the humans were kind (and had treats), we knew we were safe. Now that I’m in a foster home, everyone keeps saying the same thing: “Her fur is SO soft!” It’s true. I’m like a living plush toy. I’m incredibly sweet, I love attention, and I will gladly sit with you for pets, cuddles, or simply to be admired. I may be the soft-spoken one of the trio, but don’t let that fool you—I have just as much love (and just the right amount of sass) as my siblings. Me, Ragnar, and Valkyrie are all sweet, social, and ready to find forever homes full of love, warmth, and maybe a few stuffed animals we don’t have to share.

Adopt Freya and Receive Freya's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Freya's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Freya's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Freya, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Freya's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Freya was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Freya’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Freya’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Freya’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
