About this Dog
Hi, I’m Valkyrie – desert survivor, certified sweetheart, and the bravest little biscuit you’ll ever meet. My story starts on a dusty desert road in the middle of absolutely nowhere. It was just me and my two siblings, hanging out for three days, waiting for someone (anyone!) to come back for us. Spoiler: they didn’t. Luckily, a kind lady living in a 5th wheel nearby spotted us and called the rescue. She told them, “Hey, these pups are just sitting here like they're waiting for an Uber that’s never coming.” Rescue jumped into action, and that’s when things got interesting. We had to be trapped because we were a little nervous—but not me. Nope. I walked right up like, “Excuse me, who are you and do you happen to have snacks?” Brave? Yes. Adorable? Also yes. Once we got to our foster home, it didn’t take long for everyone to realize we’re the sweetest little pack this side of the Mississippi. We love people, love attention, and love making new friends—even if they walk on two legs. Now I’m ready for my forever home, preferably one with lots of love, a soft place to nap, and someone who appreciates a dog with a little courage and a whole lot of heart.
Contribute to Valkyrie's Stash!

100% of Valkyrie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Valkyrie.
Adopt Valkyrie and Receive Valkyrie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Valkyrie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Valkyrie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Valkyrie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Valkyrie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Valkyrie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Valkyrie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Valkyrie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Valkyrie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
