Meet Nova, the “mutt” with a whole lot of personality! After getting her DNA tested, we found out she’s a delightful mix of 46.4% Siberian Husky, 25.8% Lab, 20.5% German Shepherd, and 7.3% American Pit Bull—basically, she’s the ultimate canine cocktail! She’s sweet, smart, and definitely a charmer. Nova gets along with all the dogs (she’s basically the doggie diplomat), and she’s already potty trained—because who has time for accidents, right? When she’s not being the life of the party with her dog friends, she’s all about the cuddles. But don’t let that snuggle bug fool you—this girl LOVES snow! She had the time of her life frolicking with her siblings in the white stuff and would love to have her very own house where she can continue her snow-filled adventures (and maybe a few cuddle sessions too). If you’re looking for a smart, goofy, snow-loving, cuddle-obsessed pup, Nova is your girl!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nova was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nova’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Nova’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Nova’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
