About this Dog
**** DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER *** Courtesy Post: Lacey Needs a Loving Home Lacey is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who absolutely loves to play fetch! She’ll drop the toy for you to toss or even pick up random branches on walks to keep the game going. She never gets tired of playing, so if you’re indoors, you might need to put the toy away—otherwise, she’ll keep bringing it back for another round! She is very affectionate and enjoys cuddles and belly scratches. Lacey knows several commands, including sit, lay, drop it, out, come, and paw (for a handshake). After every good deed, she loves hearing, "Good girl, Lacey!" Lacey has lived with other dogs and children. She does well with visitors—sniffing them out and then going about her business. She is not a barker or hyper when people come over. However, she has shown food-guarding behavior when another dog has eaten her food, but otherwise has not been aggressive. She can jump short fences but listens immediately when called back. Lacey is not spayed. Unfortunately, her owner can no longer keep her due to housing constraints. This is a courtesy post—Lacey is not at the shelter. If interested, please contact Raymundo at 707-815-9474 or email [email protected]. Please share to help Lacey find a loving home! ❤️

Adopt Lacy and Receive Lacy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lacy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Lacy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lacy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lacy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lacy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lacy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lacy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lacy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
