About this Dog
Courtesy Post – Meet Ace! NOTE: THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER Ace is a stunning 1-year-old Doberman Pinscher who is looking for a loving, active home where he can get the attention, companionship, and continued training he needs to thrive. His current family is heartbroken to rehome him but due to housing limitations and busy work/school schedules, they are no longer able to give Ace the time and care he deserves. Ace is: Neutered and up to date on vaccines Potty trained and crate trained Friendly with children and has lived with other dogs Allows people to take food and toys without issue Ace has been raised both indoors and outdoors, and while he’s alert and protective by nature—true to his breed—he’s also social and curious. He may bark when people approach the home, but once introduced, he is calm and even allows visitors to pet him. He's been well-loved and shows great potential in the right environment. Note on behavior: Ace had one incident on a hike where someone approached him while he was tethered and entered his personal space. He lunged and caused a minor scratch. The person did not require stitches. He has not shown ongoing aggression and has otherwise been friendly and manageable. Ace would do best in a home that understands the Doberman breed’s need for structure, exercise, and mental stimulation. His current owner feels he would benefit greatly from having another dog companion, as he enjoys the company and playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and protective pup to add to your home—and you have the time and commitment to support his growth—Ace might be the perfect match. Adopt Ace and Receive Ace's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ace's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ace's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ace, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ace's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ace was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ace’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ace’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ace’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
