Meet Maggie! Maggie is a beautiful, sweet kitty. Maggie and her housemates Jessie A216670 and Lilly A097180 ended up at the shelter because their guardian moved into a nursing home. Maggie was a much loved family member and her mom is devastated to have to give her up. Maggie is still getting used to the shelter environment, but she is happy to see people. She is very affectionate and loves being petted on her head and cheeks, she will rub against your hand to let you know how much she loves it. If you scratch her in that sweet spot on her back, it will make her start licking at the air which is really cute. Maggie loves being brushed and this is important so her magnificent fur coat stays soft and tangle free. Maggie is a beautiful kitty, inside and out. She does live up to being a torti in that she will grumble if she doesn't like something, and if she doesn't like the way you are petting her she will gently let you know, so please pay attention. Maggie enjoys embibbing in catnip. Maggie will be a very charming, loving companion to her lucky adopter! Maggie was raised indoors only in a household without young children or dogs. She would probably do best in a quieter household without young kids or dogs, but it can depend on the situation. Please give Maggie a chance to steal your heart and get ready for a fun, long-lasting, loving relationship that will bless both of your lives!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and MAGGIE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, MAGGIE’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the MAGGIE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, MAGGIE’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
