About this Dog
Breed: Am Pit Bull DOB: 2/2021 Gender: male Altered: yes Coat: short Size: x-large Color(s): dark grey / white Description: ***Needs a Foster Home*** This dog is in need of a foster home as well as a permanent home. If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online application. Hi, I'm Riot, an outgoing Pit Bull who is in need of a new home as my owners were evicted from their apartment and have not been able to find a permanent place to live. I have lots of love to give and lots of energy to burn. I love to run around and play outside, a home with a backyard would be great. I also walk well on a leash, so we can go exploring together. I'm good with both small and large dogs and kids, too, and can be left alone during the day without issues. It's unknown if I'm good with cats. I enjoy getting plenty of attention and pets from my human friends. I can be timid and sometimes scared in new situations. I am house trained and crate trained, and I will bark to go outside. I know basic commands 'sit', 'stay' and 'come' and I know I can learn a lot more. I am now looking for a forever home where I can live out the rest of my days with a loving family. Please fill out an online application to meet me. *Thank you to Sharon for sponsoring this wonderful dog at the Burnice Kraemer Sanctuary and giving him the chance for a better life.

100% of Riot's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Riot.
Adopt Riot and Receive Riot's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Riot's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Riot's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Riot, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Riot's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Riot was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Riot’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Riot’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Riot’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
