About this Cat
Shell is a 1 year old sweetheart and was the mother of our Beach Litter. Simply put, she is just a baby herself. We got a call that a kitty and her little ones were living in some bushes in an apartment complex and were in desperate need of rescue. Our volunteers sprang into action and were able to get Shell and her babies to safety. After a trip to the vet and given the all clear, we placed them into one of our loving foster homes. All of the kittens have been adopted and now it is Shell's turn She has the sweetest personality. She has been so gentle to all the humans that have helped her, its like she knows she's been given a second chance at life. She doesn't have to worry where her next meal is coming from. She gets to nap all day and get lots of kisses and cuddles from her foster home. She has just discovered toys and is starting to play. Poor girl hasn't had a chance to be a kitten herself, well now is the time. She would love to have a cat tree in her forever home. Yummy treats and a water fountain. We think she could be a great addition to a home dynamic that has another cat, cat savvy dog or kids. We also think she would be just as content being your one and only. She is very easygoing. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Shell was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Shell’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Shell’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Shell’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
