About this Dog
Adoption fee: $700 Meet Ed Sheeran 4–5 years old | Pomeranian Mix | 11 lbs Ed Sheeran may not have a guitar, but he’s got a heart full of love and the charisma to match. This mellow little guy was rescued from the shelter with a mouth in rough shape— but after a much-needed dental, he’s feeling better than ever and ready to serenade his way into your life. Ed is calm, sweet, and endlessly affectionate. He wakes up around 8 a.m., heads outside for a potty break, then lounges around the house with his people. He’s offered breakfast in the morning but usually prefers to eat around 4 p.m.—a true artist with his own schedule. His days are a mix of short walks, yard time, and curling up in whatever room his humans are in. He’s especially fond of hanging out in the kitchen while meals are being made, plopping down right in the middle of the action without a care in the world. A total snuggler, Ed loves curling up on the couch with his foster family's kids or hanging with friends during movie night. He’s a velcro dog in the best way— he follows you around, settles in nearby, and just wants to be part of the rhythm of your day. When he first arrived, he was quiet and a little unsure, but he quickly became more outgoing, and eager for attention. Ed gets along great with other dogs and is particularly fond of his senior Chihuahua foster sibling. He’s also done well with high-energy kids— he’ll greet them, roll over for pets, then find a cozy spot to supervise their games. His favorite activities include squeaky toys, short games of fetch, and getting chauffeured around the neighborhood in a wagon (yes, really). He walks beautifully on leash, doesn’t pull or bark at passersby, and is polite and quiet in the car. Ed is housetrained and uses a doggy door, though he prefers to wait for someone to open it for him when it’s time to come back inside. He’s working on crate training and will go in without complaint if it means a car ride, but he may bark briefly if left crated at home. Ed would thrive in just about any home where he’s loved and included in the daily routine. He’s not high-maintenance, but he is high on charm, companionship, and cuddles. If you’re looking for an easygoing sidekick with a soft coat and a softer heart, Ed Sheeran might be your perfect match.

Adopt Ed Sheeran and Receive Ed Sheeran's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ed Sheeran's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Ed Sheeran's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Ed Sheeran, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ed Sheeran's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ed Sheeran was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ed Sheeran’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Ed Sheeran’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ed Sheeran’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
