This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, July 12th from 12-3pm unless adopted prior to the event. To be considered for adoption, pls submit an application in advance. Adoption fee: $700 Meet Hollywood! A 5 year old Papillon mix with a personality as fabulous as his name, Hollywood was rescued from a shelter and is now living the good life in his foster home— lounging, sunbathing, and looking effortlessly stylish. This 11 lb boy is as petite as he is sweet! Hollywood is the definition of cool, calm, and collected. He starts his day around 8am with a walk and some breakfast, then alternates between snoozing on the couch, catching rays in the backyard, and keeping an eye on the local squirrel scene. He's independent but always likes to know where you are, following you from room to room like your chill little shadow. When Hollywood first arrived, he kept a polite distance, taking time to check things out. But now? He’s blossomed into a gentle companion who’ll sit next to you on the couch, follow you around, and occasionally charm you with his signature move: standing on his hind legs to give you a “hug.” He’s not a velcro dog or a major cuddler, but when he shows affection, it’s extra special. He’s met other dogs and coexisted peacefully, though he’s more about vibes than playdates. On walks, he’s friendly with most dogs and people, sometimes giving a polite bark if another pup starts something. He’s housetrained, knows how to “sit” like a gentleman, and has a silky soft coat that looks straight out of a shampoo commercial. Hollywood’s dream home? Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hollywood's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hollywood was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hollywood’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Hollywood’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hollywood’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
