He came in terribly matted with an overgrown coat so the shelter gave him a good haircut and promised they would find him a perfect place to land. Cuba weighs 22 pounds. This world traveler can’t wait to share his adventures with his new forever home! Cuba has a non-shedding coat which makes him an option for those with allergies or who just want less hair around the house. Cuba is the world’s most outgoing, smiley guy who loves nature almost as much as he loves snuggling into his bed for naps! He loves meeting new people and showing off his cute face. Once he chooses you as his person, he will loyally follow you from room to room as you go about your day. Cuba is a cute bouncy ball of fur running around the house. He has a huge mountain of dog toys he carefully selects from every day. Cuba loves hiking and runs so an active home would be a fabulous fit for this dude! Cuba’s day starts at 7 AM with a walk in the back garden before breakfast. He then gets a longer walk around 8:30 AM before a nap in his crate while his foster mom gets some work done. During the day, he enjoys some games of fetch and chase in the backyard which he loves. He gets a longer walk at 5 PM before dinner at 5 PM. He winds down with his foster family until bedtime at 9 PM when he heads to bed in his crate and sleeps the night away. Cuba is a “one dog in the home” kind of pup. He gets along with other dogs once they have a calm intro, but he would prefer not to share the affection of his forever family. Cuba is getting better at his leash walking skills, but will need a home prepared to continue the training he has started in his foster home. We will be looking for a home who can demonstrate their plan for continued learning. Cuba is only an option for those with prior dog experience. He is only an option for those who are prepared to continue his training and who have a plan for grooming. Kids in the home should be over the age of 12.

Adopt Cuba and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cuba's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Cuba's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Cuba, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cuba's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cuba was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cuba’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Cuba’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cuba’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
