About this Dog
This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, June 1st from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered. Adoption Fee: $650 Ginger is a 4 month old Great Pyrenees mix puppy who is a gingersnap cookie with a heart of gold! Ginger was rescued from the shelter with her brother, Ale, after their former home realized they weren’t ready to take care of puppies. Well, we weren’t going to let this adorable puppy grow up in the shelter so we picked her up and promised her the best forever home! Ginger will be a large dog when she reaches her adult weight, so we will be looking for homes ready for all that comes with adorable big breed dogs! Ginger is a happy go lucky girl who can’t wait to make life amazing for her forever home. She adores people almost as much as she adores her canine foster siblings. Ginger would love to be a constant buddy for her forever person as she is a total velcro dog. She loves to monitor her foster mom as she gardens in the yard but is also happy to occupy herself when she needs to. She loves to collect sticks and toys but is happy to share with her foster siblings to encourage them to play. She is very smart and food motivated, so training with Ginger will be a total blast. Like any Pyr, zoomie sessions are paired with long nap sessions. It’s hard work being a cloud in the body of a dog, we know! Ginger is such a loving and fabulous girl who can’t wait to make you her new best friend! Ginger wakes up around 6 AM and heads outside for a potty break with her foster siblings. She eats three times a day: 8 AM, 1 PM, and 6 PM. During the day, she spends her time exploring the backyard, playing with her toys, hanging out in the sunshine, and zooming around with her foster siblings. She is also a huge nap fan and spends a few hours a day getting her nap on. In the evening, Ginger walks for about an hour with her foster siblings and loves checking out the neighborhood and all the new smells that come with new places. When Ginger comes home from her walk, she eats her dinner and hangs out outside while she watches the sunset. After dinner, Ginger watches TV and soaks up some cuddles before she goes outside at 10 PM for one last potty break before she heads to bed. Ginger gets along with dogs of all ages and sizes. She adored the resident cat in her former foster home. She adores people and makes new friends whenever she meets a new person! Ginger is working on her leash walking skills and is making progress every day. She will thrive in training classes with her forever people. She is making progress on potty training. Looking to spice up your life? Look no further than Ginger! Ginger is an option for those with prior dog experience. We will prioritize homes who have owned large breed dogs in the past. Kids in the home should be over the age of 8.

Adopt Ginger and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Ginger's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Ginger's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Ginger, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Ginger's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Ginger was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Ginger’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Ginger’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
