About this Dog
This dog will be at Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, June 14th from 12-3pm or until adopted. If you would like the first opportunity to adopt, please fill out an application to be considered. Adoption Fee: $500 Meet Crockpot – Your Loyal, Low-Riding Ride-or-Die Crockpot isn’t just a dog—he’s the dog. A 5 year old Corgi mix with a personality bigger than his 17-pound body, Crockpot is looking for a home where he can be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your most trusted sidekick. With his long, low body and alert little ears, he looks like a cartoon come to life—and he’s just as expressive. Crockpot is a master of loyalty. He bonds deeply with his people and loves nothing more than being by your side, whether you're watching a movie, working from home, or heading out for a neighborhood stroll. He’s not one for chaos or crowds—this guy’s more “cozy corner pub” than “noisy family brunch.” If you’re a looking for a steady companion who’s calm, smart, and affectionate, Crockpot may be your perfect match. House trained? - He is a work-in-progress. We suggest walks every 2 hours or so until he gets his HT certification. He is impressively intelligent—this boy loves to learn. One of his newest tricks is catching blueberries in his mouth - he's up to five at a time! He is a master of "sit" and will show off to everyone he meets. He thrives on routine and structure and would be a great candidate for continued training or fun enrichment games. Crockpot doesn’t need to be entertained with a toy box full of plushies—he really just wants your time, your trust, and maybe a few treats. Bonus points if you enjoy quiet evenings and long chats with your dog, because he is all ears. Crockpot is great on leash. Oh, and car rides - this boy loves to stick his head out the window and enjoy the breeze! Crockpot has been fostered with a mellow Golden Retriever mix and they coexist peacefully but don't engage and are fed separately just to be safe. He is an option for a home with a chill dog who minds their own business. He can be a little wary of new hands reaching for him too quickly, so older teens and adults are the best fit for his royal court. With the right match, though? He’s a cuddle champion, a faithful nap buddy, and a gentle paw-on-your-leg type of guy who just wants to remind you he’s there. And once you're his buddy, he gives excellent little kisses! If you're ready to skip the chaos and go straight to the good part—loyalty, love, and low-maintenance companionship—Crockpot is ready to simmer into your life. He's the kind of dog who doesn't just live in your house—he lives in your heart. Come meet Crockpot, and prepare to be claimed by your new best friend.

Adopt Crockpot and Receive Crockpot's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Crockpot's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Crockpot's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Crockpot, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Crockpot's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Crockpot was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Crockpot’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Crockpot’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Crockpot’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
