About this Dog
Adoption fee: $700 Meet Tater & Tot – The Breakfast Club Duo You Never Knew You Needed! Tater and Tot were rescued from a shelter at the tender age of five to six weeks and weighed less than two lbs. Now 8 weeks old and full of sass, snuggles, and snacky-time precision, Tater and Tot are a delicious little duo of pint-sized potatoes who are growing fast, learning even faster, and basically running their foster home like a well-oiled puppy circus. Although they're great eaters, Tater only weighs 2.2 lbs and Tot weighs 3 lbs, so it's likely they will stay tiny when fully grown! These two wake up with the sun. At 5:30 AM sharp, the alarm goes off (just kidding, it’s Tot bunny-hopping across the pen like she’s late for her Broadway debut). Breakfast is at 6:30, but let’s be honest: they’ve been planning the meal since 5:31. With four gourmet meals daily and a very serious schedule of play-nap-snack-repeat, Tater and Tot are living their best puppy lives. Toty is the confident explorer, attention-hog, and grass-dancing queen. She fearlessly leads all backyard expeditions and loves to make dramatic returns from her adventures with a look that says, “I have seen things.” She demands to be picked up when Tater’s getting more kisses— her version of justice. Her signature move? Cartoon-style bunny hops through the lawn, obviously. Tater is the gentle gentleman, the sweet little shadow to Toty’s spotlight. Reserved and thoughtful, Tater prefers lounging in laps, carefully climbing up humans like a koala, and watching TikToks like the thoughtful Gen Alpha boy he is. He’ll let you know when he's ready for snuggles with a soft whine, then settle into your arms like a warm potato dumpling. When they first arrived, the yard was terrifying, the grass was lava, and the world was big and weird. But now? Now they strut through the backyard like it’s their runway and nap in the sun like they invented relaxation. They play wonderfully with their foster siblings (10lbs and 30lbs), are respectful, take corrections well, and have recently discovered the concept of barking. What comes out, however, is more “baby gremlin meets squeaky rubber chicken.” It’s adorable chaos. You're welcome. Already crate-trained at night (without a peep!) and learning potty commands like little scholars. They’ve mastered “Sit” and “Down,” and are currently working on “Be Cute” (but honestly, they were born with that one). Ideal Home? Pretty much anywhere that’s ready for an overload of cuteness, some early mornings, and a lot of love. Tater would love a patient, gentle touch to help him keep building confidence. Toty says she’s fine as long as she gets a front-row seat to “Family Guy.” Fun Fact: Tot is obsessed with cartoons. She sits in front of the TV like she’s reviewing animation styles. Tater, meanwhile, is a social media junkie. Show him a reel of dogs doing tricks and he’ll gaze at the screen like he’s watching art come to life. Tater and Tot are the perfect blend of silly and sweet, sleepy and snuggly, quiet and chaotic. Adopt one of them, and you’ll never need another alarm clock again ;).

Adopt Tater and Receive Tater's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tater's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tater's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tater, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tater's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tater was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tater’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tater’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tater’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
