About this Dog
Adoption fee: $750 Meet Paradise, a 2 year old, 49 pound Aussie mix with a heart as soft as her beautiful merle coat. Rescued from a shelter and gently welcomed into foster care, Paradise has blossomed from a timid, cautious girl into a confident, affectionate, and curious companion. When she first arrived, she was unsure of her new surroundings— but even then, she showed grace and composure, calmly meeting her high-energy, 70-pound foster brother without a fuss. A few days later, she was happily zooming around the yard, herding him playfully like a true member of her breed (yes, she’s got a thing for ankles!). Paradise is the perfect balance of independent and loving. She’s not a Velcro dog, but she’ll come find you when she wants a cuddle, which—fair warning—is pretty often. She’s responsive to praise, learns quickly, and has already mastered polite greetings and staying off the couch. Her medium energy makes her ideal for a household that enjoys a bit of daily adventure followed by calm downtime. She’s housetrained, crate trained, and does well on walks, especially when she’s leading the way. She doesn’t bark much— just the occasional alert if something suspicious stirs behind the fence— and she’s shown no destructive behavior beyond a bit of harmless backyard digging. Paradise would thrive in a home that enjoys the outdoors, perhaps with a doggy sibling to keep her company, and people who are patient and loving. She hasn't met kids yet, but her sweet and adaptable nature suggests she could adjust with the right introductions. Her foster’s favorite thing? Watching her “herd” the family without even knowing she’s doing it. It's a charming reminder of the instinct and intelligence behind those gentle eyes. With Paradise, you’re not just getting a dog—you’re gaining a loyal friend who’s ready to build a new life full of trust, love, and play.

Adopt Paradise and Receive Paradise's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Paradise's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Paradise's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Paradise, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Paradise's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Paradise was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Paradise’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Paradise’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Paradise’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
