About this Dog
Meet Charlie and Buddy! If you're looking for that out of this world love, Charlie and Buddy are your guys. Two brothers abandoned at Baldwin Park Shelter. They were so loving, so gentle that instead of being euthanized they were sent to a rescue in hopes of a 2nd chance. But no one came. Day after day they have waited-- staring at the kennel door searching for the people who left them behind but no one ever walked through. Right before their time was up we stepped in because these boys aren't done loving. They're about 8-9 years old but their hearts are young and full of hope. Watching them together is pure magic, they argue like siblings, cuddle like puppies, and shower each other with kisses. They love their walks together, sunbathing and most of all just being next to their person. Charlie is more sensitive, loves cuddles and could be in your lap all day if you wanted but he also loves squeaky toys and balls so he can entertain himself in your presence. Its clear someone once cherished them. We don't know what happened but we do know this: they are still waiting. Waiting for love, for home. Two dogs aren't twice the work- they're twice the love! And Charlie and Buddy are as easy and sweet as they come. Please, if you have space in your heart and home adopt these boys. Give them the family they so deperately miss because this time they deserve to know that love never leaves.

The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Charlie #3700, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Charlie #3700's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlie #3700 was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlie #3700’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Charlie #3700’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Charlie #3700’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
