About this Cat
Lunchbox is a 1yr old, 11lb baby panther with a Sour Patch Kid personality: mostly sweet, with just enough sour to keep things interesting. He isn’t the bravest boy and has classic cat boundaries. Affection is on his terms, being carried isn't his favorite, and he may give a warning nip if scared. With people he trusts, he’s playful, hilarious, and up for many lap naps. He loves toys, cat tv, trees, climbing, and hunting bugs.
Easy & independent, he comes when called by a whistle. He tolerates a harness and leash once it’s on, would thrive with a catio, and does well at the vet for nail trims and exams.
We’re rehoming Lunchbox so he can enjoy a home better suited to his personality and preferences. His happiness comes first, and we’ll wait for the perfect fit. He should be the only cat or live with confident cats who enjoy wrestling and playful biting. The same goes for dogs: no small or fearful dogs. He would be fine with older children who can respect his quirks.

How will Lunchbox receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Lunchbox, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Lunchbox's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lunchbox was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lunchbox’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Lunchbox’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lunchbox’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
