About this Dog
I have a very sweet female anatolian mix who is in need of a new home. She’s a little timid and does not warm up to men. She’ll need a female as her primary person.
Up to date on all shots, spayed and had a visit to the vet a couple months ago with a clean bill of health.
She’s 5 1/2 years old and has grown up with other dogs, cats, goats and chickens. Friendly with other dogs on hikes or at beach and does great on leash. Does great in the car as well, although she barks a little in parking lots. She has been boarded a few times and boards well, a little shy at first in the play area, but she eventually starts to have fun. She loves adventures out.
She grew up on ten acres and likes to roam. So you will either need a good fence or enough space for her to roam freely. Again, she needs a female as her primary person, and ideally you would have other dogs and some property.
She would make a great pet or ranch dog, or both, but she definitely likes affection and to be around her person once she warms up to you. I’m sad to see her go but circumstances aren’t allowing me to keep her any more.

How will Boots receive the contribution?
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Boots, thank you for providing a home and a loving family! Please begin the process of claiming Boots's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Boots was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Boots’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
What happens to unclaimed funds?
We want the Boots’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Boots’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
