About this Dog
Peanut would make a great companion dog. He is calm and quiet and loves to cuddle. Peanut took a couple months to really start showing his personality and get comfortable with his foster home. His favorite place to be is on the couch curled up under a cozy blanket. Peanut is about 9 years old and 9 pounds Peanut is a VERY well behaved little dog. He rarely barks, he is not a runner and will come when called. He enjoys occasional treats (he is picky about what treats he likes) and he does not chew on things he shouldn’t. He is happiest around his person so he doesn’t wander far. He is fine with other dogs (mostly he is uninterested) but would do best with other small dogs. Peanut does great in the car. He prefers to have a bed or blanket to sleep on as he doesn’t like the slippery seats but he settles right in his bed for the ride. He is house trained though he is not a fan of pooping outside in stormy weather! He does best with a covered area to go when the weather is bad. He had a couple pee accidents at the beginning of fostering but that hasn’t been an ongoing issue. All in all Peanut is just a sweet little love bug who wants to live out his older years in a warm cozy loving home. He has loads of cuddles and toe licks to share! Peanut had a dental with some extractions to get ready for adoption. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Peanut is $200. If you are interested in adopting Peanut, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Peanut is being fostered in Santa Rosa.

Adopt Peanut and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Peanut's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Peanut's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Peanut, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Peanut's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Peanut was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Peanut’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Peanut’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Peanut’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
