About this Dog
Meet Clyde the mixed breed pup! This cutie came in as a stray. He has been hanging out in a foster home the past few days and the foster reports: âClyde has had a great first 24 hours at our place, and I hope he gets adopted quickly so my family does not fall for him any more than they already have. He pooped and peed in his crate overnight but not on his bed. Otherwise no accidents (with strong management and constant attention). He has met two older adult dogs and a cat. He is respectful of their cues. He expresses his interested by sitting or laying in front of them with a hopeful look and shares space part time with supervision with cat and dogs. He been showered with attention by older child and teen and adults alike. The usual puppy mouthy but easily redirects to a toy. He is a catch.â Want to fall in love with him yourself? Come on down to the Shelter to set up an appointment to meet Clyde today! Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
Contribute to CLYDE*'s Stash!

100% of CLYDE*'s balance will be sent to whoever adopts CLYDE*.
Adopt CLYDE* and Receive CLYDE*'s Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, CLYDE*'s new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is CLYDE*'s current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the CLYDE*, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming CLYDE*'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and CLYDE* was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, CLYDE*’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the CLYDE*’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, CLYDE*’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
