Meet Niagra Falls, the kitten! This little kitten came in with all of their friends to the Shelter after being found on a property. Niagra Falls is enjoying safe, indoor life and would like to continue that in their next home. A home with a resident kitty or one of their friends may be a fit in their next spot.Niagra Fallsâ adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund â a fund that draws adopterâs eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and NIAGRA FALLS* was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, NIAGRA FALLS*’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the NIAGRA FALLS*’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, NIAGRA FALLS*’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
