About this Dog
Meet Bob-O the black pittie mix. Bob-O came into the Shelter after his caregiver passed away. This energetic, goofy pittie has a history of being a social butterfly with known and new people. He would hang out at home while his guardian went to work and catch some zzzâs. He previously lived with a female pittie and coexisted nicely â enjoying playing with toys and adventuring around their house. He has lived on a property where there were outdoor cats previously so a home with dog-savvy cats may be a fit after a period of slow introduction and management. Bob-O is an active guy that would thrive with daily mental and physical stimulation. Now through July 19th, adoption fees are reduced to $70 thanks to the BISSEL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelter event! Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.

100% of BOB-O's balance will be sent to whoever adopts BOB-O.
Adopt BOB-O and Receive BOB-O's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BOB-O's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is BOB-O's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the BOB-O, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BOB-O's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BOB-O was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BOB-O’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the BOB-O’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BOB-O’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
