Charlie Boy ! This little 10-pound sweetheart is just under two years old and full of love. He’s the ultimate snuggle buddy, gets along great with other dogs, and enjoys his daily walks. He’s also eager to learn new things, so he's the perfect candidate for training class. Energy Level? Medium House trained? Mostly Describe how they are on leash? He enjoys walks and loves to sniff everything Describe how they are with other dogs? Charlie Boy is great around other dogs. He is a bit timid meeting new dogs. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? N/A Commands they know? He will sit and wait for food What are their favorite things? Cuddling, eating, playing with toys What do they need to work on? Charlie is a young dog that would benefit from training. He is learning not to jump up on all the furniture. When we leave him alone he needs to be crated. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone? At first he cries and howls in his crate and then he settles. Where do they sleep? He sleeps in his crate but he would prefer snuggled on a bed What is their ideal home? Charlie would do well with a family that enjoys his playful energy and can invest in basic training. After getting over the initial hesitation, Charlie loves people and would do well with someone who can give him all the love and attention he wants. He is fine around other dogs but doesn't need to be in a home with other pets. He is getting used to being left alone but it would be good for him to be with someone who will be home with him a bit at first. Charlie is such a great dog. Our Adoption fee is $325. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlie Boy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlie Boy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Charlie Boy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Charlie Boy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
