About this Dog
Meet Jonah - a gorgeous and fun-loving 3-year-old Husky who is looking for his perfect companion! This smart and affectionate boy is ready to find a home full of love with an experienced dog owner who is able to give Jonah time and attention as he adapts to his new environment. At first, Jonah can be slow to warm up to strangers, but once you're a part of his `pack` he's eager to show you his silly, cuddly side and has no problem being a lap dog despite his 75lbs size. In true Husky nature, he is always eager to learn, loves to express himself vocally (AHROO!), and is fiercely loyal to his people.Jonah is friendly with most other dogs but prefers to choose his dog friends. He knows all the basic commands of Sit, Shake and Down and is very attentive to his handler. He has good leash skills, though given he's a Husky (and a sled dog at heart!) he sometimes pulls on his leash when he's excited, so he needs a strong handler. He loves going to the beach and any opportunity to be out and about, and rides well in a car, too. Given his size and strength and energy, it is recommended that Jonah be the only dog in a home, one without small children. If you're looking for a sweet-natured adventure buddy who will never forget to stop and smell the flowers, then come visit Jonah at Santa Barbara County Animal Services today!

100% of JONAH's balance will be sent to whoever adopts JONAH.
Adopt JONAH and Receive JONAH's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JONAH's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is JONAH's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the JONAH, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JONAH's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JONAH was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JONAH’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JONAH’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JONAH’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
