About this Cat
Meet Catfish – A Sweet Soul Learning to Trust Catfish is a beautiful and gentle mama cat who’s just beginning her journey to rediscover what it means to feel safe and loved. After raising four healthy, happy kittens with incredible devotion, she’s finally getting a chance to focus on herself – and it’s been heartwarming to watch her take those first brave steps. She’s still settling in and prefers the quiet comfort of a spare room (with occasional ventures into the bedroom), but little by little, she’s starting to explore. Just recently, she allowed her foster to pet her for the very first time – a big and exciting milestone! With a bit more time and patience, we know she’ll continue to blossom. Catfish would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can come out of her shell at her own pace. If you're the kind of person who finds joy in gentle progress and quiet companionship, Catfish might just be your perfect match. She’s not ready to cuddle just yet, but she’s showing signs of trust – and that’s the beginning of something truly special. Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped. This cat is in a foster home. More information about this cat and all of our adoptable cats can be found at www.thedancingcat.org/cats. Our adoption application can be found at www.thedancingcat.org/adopt.

100% of Catfish's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Catfish.
Adopt Catfish and Receive Catfish's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Catfish's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Catfish's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Catfish, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Catfish's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Catfish was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Catfish’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Catfish’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Catfish’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
