Wabi-sabi is a sweet, high-energy boy with a heart full of love and a little extra jazz in his step. There is a swagger to this handsome fella's walk that can make certain movements a little unstable, so he should be supervised when climbing up high. Wabi-sabi needs a wee moment with new people, but once he trusts you, he blossoms into a confident, affectionate buddy. He’ll follow you from room to room and loves to be near his people — especially if there’s a good TV show to watch or a cozy lap to curl up in. He’s playful and full of his own unique zoomies, especially when he’s chasing his cat friends around the house. Wabi-sabi does well with most cats who are cool with him and the stimulation on his level seems good for his overall vibe. He enjoys pets (just not on the belly!) and may ask you to stop if he has had too many. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal companion who will always keep you company and keep you smiling, Wabi-sabi might just be your guy! Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is at our adult cat adoption lounge located in downtown San Jose. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Wabi-sabi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Wabi-sabi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Wabi-sabi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Wabi-sabi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Wabi-sabi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
