Tuna is an adorable sweetheart, even if he isn't the brightest of kittenfish. He excels in bravery and persistence. Bravery doesn't mean that he's never scared. He's frequently concerned about new situations, but because he is brave, he doesn't let being scared stop him. His persistence kicks in, and he keeps working until he is satisfied that all is well in his world. This persistence has also won him the fish school high jumping title. It didn't come easily, but he just kept trying. This little kittenfish would love a home with one of his siblings or your resident cat and you. Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This kitten is currently in a foster home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tuna was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tuna’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tuna’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tuna’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
