Mojito may have been the runt of the litter, but she’s got the biggest heart of them all. This little lovebug is endlessly affectionate, always ready to curl up in your lap or be scooped up for cuddles. She’ll even come find you, meow at your feet, and politely request to be held—how can you say no to that? She’s a high-energy, playful girl whose favorite toy is a small green plastic ball that she carries around like a prized possession—even bringing it to bed! When playtime winds down, she’s happy to curl up on the couch or cat tree for a cozy night’s sleep. Mojito is wonderfully sociable—she loves people (including kids), gets along great with her siblings (especially her sister, Paloma), and will call out if she’s feeling lonely. She bonds quickly with new people and trots right up to say hello, no hesitation needed. She’s smart, responsive, and may even be trainable—she and her sister Paloma come when called and are always excited to greet you at the door. And if you’ve got a nightly Churu routine, prepare for a new tradition—Mojito is very serious about her Churu. She’ll grab it with both paws and try to claim it as hers (sharing is hard when you love something that much!). If you're looking for a super sweet, people-oriented, playful companion who will shower you with affection, Mojito is your girl. Bonus points if you have lap space, Churus, and a green ball. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mojito (bonded w/ Paloma) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mojito (bonded w/ Paloma)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mojito (bonded w/ Paloma)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mojito (bonded w/ Paloma)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
