Lola is a beautiful, playful girl who is looking for a patient and understanding home where she can continue to blossom. She is on the shy side and will need someone willing to give her time to build trust, but she is making wonderful progress! Recently, she has started allowing gentle pets on her back while sitting on the cat tree—a big milestone for her. Lola loves to play! Whether it’s with other cats or on her own, she enjoys batting around her favorite toys—especially balls and springs. She’s also a big fan of nighttime zoomies and often initiates the fun with her feline friends. She has had special bonds other cats and would do well with another friendly cat to keep her company. While she isn’t a lap cat (yet!), she is comfortable sitting next to you on the couch and enjoys relaxing on the cat tree. She would thrive in a quieter home with patient adopters who will let her progress at her own pace. She does well with other cats, is fine with dogs, and would likely be okay with respectful teenagers. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lola was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lola’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Lola’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lola’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
