About this Cat
There are some things that are special about little Waldo. First and foremost, he is a NASA cat, so you know he's smart. He was trapped at the NASA Ames Research Center. We haven't figured out yet if he's a scientist or an engineer, or something else. But he's got to be sharp. Waldo loves to play. But he interrupts his play to demand cuddles. That's pretty special. Waldo loves to eat. But he doesn't dive in until he's received a cuddle. That's even more special. Waldo loves to be brushed, which is a good thing because he has long, soft fur. Waldo is young and still a little shy - still not quite a lap cat, though he will snooze beside you or lean against you and nap. But when he first arrived, he was extremely shy, and might have seemed unsociable except that there was always a softness in his eyes that proved otherwise. Still, he hid under as many layers as he could. And he couldn't be found. Where's Waldo?? The real Waldo emerged and he is a sweet and playful companion. Waldo is neutered and has his latest shots. Waldo is being cared for by a member of the community. Please begin the process of claiming Waldo (Courtesy Post)'s contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Waldo (Courtesy Post) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Waldo (Courtesy Post)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Waldo (Courtesy Post)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Waldo (Courtesy Post)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
