Meet Belinda! Belinda is a sweet cat who will need a little extra time to feel comfortable in a new home. While she may initially hide around strangers, once she builds trust, she enjoys affection and companionship—especially from other cats! She loves rubbing up against her cat friends and enjoys mutual grooming. She likes playing with spring toys and wand toys, especially when she has another cat to play with. At night, she prefers to sleep on the futon, snuggled up with her favorite companion. Belinda would do best in a quiet home with a patient adopter who understands that she’ll need time to come out of her shell. A confident, friendly cat in the home would be ideal to help her feel safe and adjust more easily. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful companion who thrives with another cat by her side, Belinda might be the perfect fit! Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. This cat is currently in a foster home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Belinda (bonded w/ Target) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Belinda (bonded w/ Target)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Belinda (bonded w/ Target)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Belinda (bonded w/ Target)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
