About this Cat
Freda: Acrobat. Window Watcher. Tortie Queen. Hi, I’m Freda—and yes, the “tortie-tude” rumors are absolutely true. ? I’ve got sass, class, and some pretty impressive mid-air moves. I was rescued as a kitten from the streets of San Francisco with my sister Holly, and I’ve come a long way from my backyard beginnings. I’m still a bit shy with new people, but once I feel safe, I turn into a total goofball. My ideal human? Someone patient, kind, and cat-savvy—someone who understands that I might need a little time to warm up, but that I’m 100% worth the wait. When I’m comfortable, you’ll see my sporty side shine. I’m a flying acrobat when the Da Bird comes out, and the cat dancer toy? Let’s just say it doesn’t stand a chance. I also love lounging by windows where I can keep an eye on the neighborhood—chirping at passersby and pretending I run the block. (I kinda do.) Food is another great way to my heart. I’ll lick Churus straight off your fingers, and if you’ve got treats, you’ve got my attention. And once we’ve bonded? Get ready for head scritches, little paw taps for “more please,” and sweet moments where I let you in on my softer side. I’d be happy as an only cat while I find my rhythm in a new home, but I could also thrive with another friendly feline—or adopted alongside my sister Holly, if you’re looking for a dynamic duo. So, if you’re looking for a beautiful, bold tortie with just the right mix of spice and sweetness, I might be your girl. Let’s meet and see if we click. I’ll bring the purrs, you bring the snacks. 100% of Freda's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Freda.
Adopt Freda and Receive Freda's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Freda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Freda's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Freda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Freda's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Freda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Freda’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Freda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Freda’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
