I’m Louie — a smart, snuggly, and slightly mischievous kitty looking for my forever home in San Francisco. I was rescued from Peninsula Humane Society, and let me tell you, I’ve got a big purrsonality and an even bigger heart. I’ll greet you at the door like we’ve been best friends forever, wrap you in cuddles, and charm you with my playful antics. I love wand toys, lap time, and being right in the middle of whatever you’re doing — laundry, video calls, snack breaks, you name it. Let’s get one thing straight: I’m the total package. I’m sweet, playful, and full of energy — but also the perfect chill companion when it’s time to unwind. I’ll even keep you company while you fold laundry or make dinner… I’m thoughtful like that. I love being around people and settle in quickly with new humans. When I’m feeling snuggly, I’ll curl up in your lap and purr like an engine, reaching up with a gentle paw to politely request more chin scritches. Brushing? Yes, please. I’m into self-care. Also, not to brag, but I’m kind of a genius. I’ve mastered sit, high five, spin, and jump on command — and I’m learning even more tricks with clicker training. Even though I love to explore, I’m respectful of your space — I stick to my scratching posts and leave your furniture alone. I like to perch up high where I can keep an eye on everything (I take my supervisory duties seriously). I’d love a home with a bit of room to roam — studio apartments just aren’t my style. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Louie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Louie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Louie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Louie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
