About this Dog
Meet Goose Your Pocket-Sized Adventure Pal At just 9lbs and 3 years old, Goose is proof that great things come in small, spicy packages. This pint-sized chihuahua is equal parts cuddle bug and city explorer. He loves hopping into his favorite local pub, trotting down sidewalks on long walks, squeaking his toys, and curling up for cozy snuggles after a day of urban adventures. Goose is also fabulously feisty—a true chihuahua with character. He’s looking for a human who understands the breed’s bold spirit and appreciates a dog who knows what he wants (hint: it usually involves snacks and attention). He’s a social butterfly when it comes to fellow canines—especially ones who are down for some playful wrestling matches. Goose thrives on rough-and-tumble play with his dog buddies and would love a home where he can keep building those friendships. You don't have to have a dog but if you do, he'll bring silly fun to the home. If you’ve got chihuahua experience and a love for life’s little eccentrics, Goose could be your perfect match. He shines in a home where structure meets affection and city outings are part of the lifestyle. Goose travels well...he has been to Mendocino and was fabulous in the car! Goose is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for GOOSE is $300. If you are interested in adopting GOOSE, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adopt Goose and Receive Goose's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Goose's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Goose's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Goose, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Goose's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Goose was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Goose’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Goose’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Goose’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
